Chicago’s 1,191 ft. Vista Tower has topped out as contractors placed the final beam on April 26.

Magellan Development Group is developing the $1 billion tower at 363 Wacker Dr., designed by architect Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang.

The project, which will be Chicago’s third tallest building, is on schedule for completion in 2020 after construction began in 2016, the developers say. The completed tower will consist of 396 condominiums, a five-star hotel and an amenities including a sky terrace with an outdoor pool, word-class spa, Tesla car-share program, golf simulator, wine-tasting room and more located at Club Vista on the 47th floor.
