McShane Construction Company (a member of the McShane Companies) and Ware Malcomb are designing and building a speculative 385,300 sq. ft. industrial facility in Elgin.

David J. Friedman, president of Conor Commercial Real Estate (part of the McShane group), said in a news release that the project should be ready for occupancy in Nov. 2016.

“Northwest Pointe II has been designed to offer single- or multi-tenant suites ranging in size from 65,000 to 385,000 sq. ft. The building features an efficient cross-dock configuration with a 32 ft. clear height, 38 dock-high doors, four drive-in doors, an ESFR sprinkler system and customizable office options to suit tenant requirements. The industrial project also provides optimal truck maneuverability with 130 ft. courts and parking for 386 vehicles,” the company said in a news release.
