The Township High School District 113 is proposing two major projects at Deerfield High School and Highland Park High School in a $59 million infrastructure plan.

Deerfield will get a new auditorium, while a new music wing is proposed at Highland Park High School. Reconstruction of the Deerfield auditorium could happen in 2021 and the Highland Park music wing could be completed the following year, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The plan, which is being discussed by District 113 board members, outlines a variety of school renovation and construction projects that could be completed over the next three summers. The school board will continue the discussion Jan. 21.
