Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) has opened registration for the ninth Shingle Recycling Forum.

Returning after a five-year pause, the forum will again be the meeting place of the shingle recycling industry, bringing together processors, end users, government entities, and shingle manufacturers to find environmentally friendly disposal options for recycled asphalt shingles (RAS).

The event will include a tour of a local shingle recycling facility and a hot-mix asphalt plant that uses RAS in its mixes.

Sessions will focus largely on the challenges and possibilities of end markets, from HMA to extraction to closing the loop into new shingles. End markets remain the most important challenge to improving shingle recovery.

Participant will also get information on designing a shingle recycling facility to make it easy for roofing contractors to supply material, an exhibit hall with industry suppliers, and success stories from government entities on using RAS in highways.

Exhibit and sponsorship opportunities are available.
