PREMIER Design + Build Group, based in Itasca, has been selected for the construction of a 285,527 sq. ft. cold storage facility in Savannah, Georgia for Frozen Assets Cold Storage. The project will include a 19,518 sq. ft. blast freezer to accommodate the company’s daily operations. This is PREMIER’s first project in the state of Georgia and second for Frozen Assets Cold Storage. Bridge Development Partners is the developer.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Frozen Assets Cold Storage once again and look forward to breaking ground on our first development in Georgia,” says Mark Melone, vice-president and Midwest market leader. “Savannah is experiencing explosive growth, and we are excited to be a part of that.”
The insulated metal panel building will feature 50’ clear height warehouse storage with a Tyco Quell™ fire protection system. The facility will also contain a state-of-the-art blast freezing system.
Project manager Samantha Skopek will oversee the design and construction for PREMIER along with project superintendent Johnathan Nelsen.
