Pepper Construction Company is co-ordinating as general contractor a $17 million renovation/alteration project at 900 N. Michigan for owner JMB Financial Advisors, LLC.

The City of Chicago building permit work description says: “Interior and exterior renovations to existing retail building as per plans. Work to include ground floor entrance modifications, lighting and ACT tile modifications to concourse levels LL1 to 6th floor and sixth floor atrium.

“We think it’s a great fit for us,” said 900 North Michigan Shops spokeswoman Stacy Kolios. “We’re looking for the right partner to make it happen.”

Subcontractors include: Electrical – Kelso-Burnett Co.; plumber – James P. O’Sullivan; and ventilation – State Mechanical Services.
