San Francisco-based Proligis Inc. plans to construct a large warehouse near McKinley Park on the southwest side of Chicago in a partnership deal, reports Crains.
The 208,327 sq. ft. distribution center will be located near 29th St. and Damen Ave. The firm has filed a zoning application to the Chicago city council.
Crains reports that the firm already has at least one tenant ready to move in and rent some area of the large distribution center.
According to the company’s website, Prologis is the global leader in industrial logistics real estate across America, Europe and Asia, and develops first-class logistics and distribution facilities.
