Chicago Jesuit Academy begins $25 million expansion project

The city has issued a $25 million permit for a three-story addition to the Chicago Jesuit Academy at 5065 Quincy Ave.

Walsh Construction Company is the general contractor for the work described in the permit as “addition to existing school building that is 3-story high with 19 proposed classrooms, educational associated spaces, 48 new off-street vehicle parking spaces, and one loading area.”

The permit was issued on Jan. 13.

Key subtrades include: Electrical – Superior One Electric, Inc.; masonry – Walsh Construction Company; plumber/plumbing – Chas F. Bruckner & Son, Inc.; and refrigeration and ventilation – GT Mechanical Projects and Design.
