Chicago issues $42.65 permit for 188-unit structure at 740 N. Aberdeen

Chicago has issued a $42.65 million building permit to construct a 188-unit, 12 story apartment building a 740 N. Aberdeen.

James McHugh Construction Co. is building the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) structure near the Chicago Transit Agency’s Blue Line Chicago Ave. stop, for a special purpose company associated with developer Fifield Companies. The architect listed on the building permit is FitzGerald Associates Architects president Michael E. De Rouin.

Key subtrades include: Electrical – Chatfield Electric, Inc., masonry – James McHugh Construction Co., and Mastership Construction Co.; plumbing – Titan Mechanical Corp.; and refrigeration and mechanical – AMS Mechanical Systems Inc.
