3L Real Estate gets permit for $15M redevelopment project

3L Real Estate received a permit to convert a 12-story South Loop office building into a 150-unit residential building, The Real Deal reported.

The developer plans to spend about $15 million to renovate the 47-year-old concrete building at 820 South Michigan Ave.

Records show United Insulated Structures as the project’s  general contractor.
